Virtually, almost everything sells on eBay, but some
items bring a better price than others. Some of the factors affecting the value are:
· Age – some
old, some new
· Collectability – Many items are hot, such as Hummel figures & Steuben Crystal. Some
are categories you wouldn’t expect!
· Condition of item
· Condition of original packaging
· Current demand
· Supporting documents, i.e. manuals, instructions
· Manufacturer
·
Shipping costs – The greater the shipping cost, the less the bids will be.
· Personal Taste – Remember
that even if you don’t like an item, there is a reasonable chance that someone else will treasure it.

Usability – Most items sold on eBay are current in-use items, which means most items that are useable can be sold on
eBay!
